ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿನ ನಿಜವಾದ ಸಂತೋಷ, ಅರ್ಥ ಮತ್ತು ಉದ್ದೇಶದ ಸಲುವಾಗಿ ನಡೆಸಿದ ನನ್ನ ಹುಡುಕಾಟವನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಸ್ವಂತ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಿಂದ ನಿರ್ಬಂಧಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂಬ ಸತ್ಯವನ್ನು ನಾನು ನನ್ನ 50 ವರ್ಷಗಳು ಕಳೆದ ನಂತರ ಇದೀಗ ಅರಿತುಕೊಂಡೆ. ನಾವು ನಮ್ಮ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನ ಕೈದಿಗಳು. ಕಷ್ಟ ಮತ್ತು ದುಃಖದ ಪಂಜರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಬಂಧಿಸಿರುವ ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತ ಎಂದು ನಾವು ತಪ್ಪಾಗಿ ಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಆದರೆ ಅದು ನಮ್ಮ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಶತ್ರು ಎಂಬ ಸತ್ಯವನ್ನು ನಾವು ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಈ ಮನಸ್ಸು ತುಂಬಾ ಚೇಷ್ಟೆ.
