ಹೊತ್ತಿಹ ನೊಗದ
ಭಾರಕೆ
ನಲುಗಿದೆ ದೇಹ,
ಮಿಡಿದಿದೆ ಮನವು
ನಿಡಿದಾದ ನಿಟ್ಟುಸಿರು.
ಕ್ರಮಿಸಬೇಕಿಗಿದೆ ಇನ್ನೂ
ಕಾಯಕದ ಹಾದಿ.
ತಪ್ಪುವ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಗೊಂದು
ಧಣಿಯ ಚಾಟಿಯ
ಸ್ಮರಣಿಕೆ.

ಕೊಟ್ಟಿಹೆನು ಕತ್ತನು,
ನೊಗಕೆ,
ಮುಂದಿದೆ ಬದುಕಿನ
ಕಾಯಕದ ಹಾದಿಯು.
ದಣಿಯದಿರಲಿ ದೇಹ,
ಮನಸ್ಸು ,
ತಪ್ಪದಿರಲಿ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆ,
ಸವೆಯದಿರಲಿ ಹಾದಿ..

ಸಾಗಿರಲಿ ಕಾಯಕ
ಬದುಕು ಮುಗಿವ ತನಕ.
ದಣಿದು ಸೋತ ದಿನ
ಜೀವನವು ಬಹು ಭಾರ
ಬಲು ಘೋರ..

“ಜೀವನದ ಓಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಗೆಲ್ಲುವ ಎತ್ತು ಕೊಟ್ಟಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ, ಸೋತ ಎತ್ತಿನ ಜೀವ ಕಟುಕನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ.”

work is worship..
